The LIVE UNITED movement is for anyone who wants to make sure
their community I is vibrant and strong ensuring that their
friends and neighbors have the building blocks for a good life.
But a movement also needs leaders. When you invest $750 or more
in United Way’s LIVE UNITED movement, you lead by example and
ensure together we have the momentum to reach our goals.
When you give at this level, you receive numerous benefits,
including recognition in our materials, networking opportunities,
special volunteer opportunities and frontline information about
the issues we’re tackling together.
You can also choose to leave a legacy to our community by
including United Way in your estate plan, or you can donate
$10,000 or more in one year and be entered into our elite
The United Way Young Leaders Society (YLS) is a diverse group of
young professionals (ages 21-40) focused on philanthropy and
service in the greater Sacramento Region. YLS members are
committed to investing in health and educational opportunities
for students by volunteering their time, mobilizing their social
networks, and raising money for an annual community impact
Community Impact Councils are teams of volunteers who identify
tough issues and develop collaborative projects to achieve
specific outcomes. The funding for these projects comes from
donors who entrust their gifts to United Way.
We have three Community Impact Councils that focus on
Education, Health, and Income.
